This Privacy Policy explains how PurpleCam handles information when you use the website for guest sessions, matching, live video calls, optional account features, purchases, and support.

1. Scope

PurpleCam is a random 1-on-1 video chat service. This policy covers the website and its guest session, matching, call, account, wallet, safety, and support flows.

2. Information we collect

• Account and session data: guest session identifiers, and if you create or link an account, details such as email, display name, avatar, and login credentials where those options are offered.
• Matching and call activity: match requests, call start/end events, and related usage counters such as remaining free match credits.
• Device and technical data: browser type, device type, IP address, approximate network information, diagnostics, and cookies or similar storage needed to keep you signed in and operate the service.
• Payment data: when you buy coins, billing and transaction details are processed by payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
• Support and safety reports: messages and details you choose to submit when contacting support or reporting abuse. The report form can upload up to 3 photos that you select from your device; it does not automatically capture a screenshot.

3. How we use information

• Operate guest login, matching, live video calls, Next/skip, and hang-up flows
• Enforce free-match limits and process paid match / coin purchases
• Provide report, block, and support handling
• Secure the service, prevent fraud, and meet legal requirements
• Improve reliability and product quality using aggregated usage signals

4. Live video and audio

The current PurpleCam web client requests camera and microphone access and sends those tracks to the real-time call. It does not start a call recorder or upload the live video or audio stream as a recording. The service does receive operational metadata needed to run the call, including match requests and call start, connection, and end events. Voice messages are separate: the browser creates a short audio file only when you choose to record and send one. Reports upload only photos you select from your device and do not automatically capture the live call. This section describes the current web client and does not claim what infrastructure providers may log outside the product UI. During a live match, the other person can see and hear you.

5. Sharing

We may share information with infrastructure and payment providers that help run matching, calls, storage, and purchases; with authorities when required by law; and with reviewers handling abuse reports you submit. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention and choices

We retain account, session, purchase, support, and call activity records as needed to operate the product, review safety reports, and meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable by emailing [email protected] or using the Contact page.

7. Children

PurpleCam is for adults only. Users under 18 must not use the service.
